Soft grey decorated covers, A4 size, fine condition, no dustjacket (as issued) typeset in Bodoni by Charles Hall. produced in a LIMITED EDITION of 148 numbered copies only, each SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. Frank Martin, British etcher, engraver & woodcut artist, was elected an Honorary Academician of the Royal Academy and was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers. He was also a full member of the Academia delle Arti del Disegro, Florence. He was for many years the Professor of Engraving and Etching at London's Camberwell School of Art. He is remember for his 600 engravings & etchings, mainly of women, and his collectors today include Elton John and Michael Caine. This is an attractive collection of life drawings, with interesting commentary by Frank Martin on his work.
